Yes, because I’m the ABA’s bitch the ABA kindly reminded me, anime bloggers only have until tomorrow to head on over to the Anime Blog Awards to nominate me blogs in 15 categories. So if you’re an anime blogger and haven’t gotten around to nominating this blog submitting nominations yet, do it now.
Only those with an anime blog can make initial nominations, of which the 5 sites which receive the most nominations in each category will be put up for a public vote that everyone can take part in. That round of voting will go on until I win from April 25th to June 1st.
Winners will receive a special 2009 anime bloggers in the nude calendar with me on the cover everlasting praise and awe from leaders from the around the world someone I’m sure.

Well, OK, the Anime Blog Awards were never evil, but with the increasing influx of blogs writing about this ABC (Anime Blog Collective if you’re still out of the loop) controversy or whatever (I hadn’t even heard of it until like 4 days ago) on top of visiting the ABA page, I keep finding some good blogs to add to my blogroll.
I think I’ve added three or four already in the past couple days and I’ll probably end up adding more. Looking at some other people’s blogrolls made mine look pathetic, so I thought it was about time to expand mine a little bit. So fear not! Some good has come from all of this!

As one of the many celebrity anime bloggers which will soon walk down the animated red carpet in hopes of winning an award and to watch other (probably [certainly?] more deserving) bloggers gloriously win them instead, I wanted to point out that the Anime Blog Awards are currently taking nominations in a number of categories.
I guess the most relevant one for this blog would be “Best Episodic Blog,” even if that doesn’t make a majority of what I do (it may. I’ve never really counted what proportion of my posts it makes up). You have to own or write for an anime blog yourself to nominate (you can’t nominate yourself), but if you feel that my blog is worthy to be nominated in any of the categories, feel free to nominate me. You can nominate 3 blogs for each category.
Nominations will be taken until April 22nd and voting will take place between April 25th and June 1st.
