It’s episode 19 of Shion no Ō. Detective Yokoyama hits yet another dead end in trying to find Shion parent’s murderer, but are signs starting to point away form Satoru and towards his brother instead? Meanwhile, Satoru starts investigating the murder himself, and is shocked about what he finds.
It’s episode 18 of Shion no Ō. Shion and Satoru finish their match, but who will win? And will Satoru finally be able to get past all the troubles in his past?
It’s episode 17 of Shion no Ō. Shion and Satoru start their rematch, and Satoru continues his mental assault on Shion. However, this time it causes Shion to remember back 8 years to around the time of the murder. Is she starting to remember what happened that terrible night 8 years ago? Meanwhile, what connection is there between Satoru’s old lover and Shion’s parents?
It’s episode 16 of Shion no Ō. Tragedy befalls Ayumi on the eve of his game with Satoru. Will he be able to defeat Satoru, or is Satoru’s drive to play Hani-meijin again too overpowering? And someone gets a new hairstyle, and a new shogi master.
It’s episode 15 of Shion no Ō. It’s time for Shion and Shinji’s match, so who is going to win this father-daughter matchup. Also, Satoru continues his general creepiness, but also shows how he’s been able to win in the tournament so far.
It’s episode 14 of Shion no Ō. What will Saori do now that she knows Ayumi is a dude? And it’s time to seed the remaining 12 players in the tournament, but Satoru and Koybayashi decide that leaving the matchups totally up to chance just won’t do. What matchups are those two going to come up with?
It’s episode 13 of Shion no Ō. Shion and Saori both lose, so it’s the end of the three girls in the tournament, right? Well, lucky for them, 3 extra players have to advance to the final tournament on top of the 9 finalists to make it an even bracket, so they each have a chance to advance, but will they do so? And Saori gets a note that Ayumi’s mother is in the hospital and goes visit. Unfortunately for Ayumi, his mother doesn’t know anything about him playing shogi, nor does he dress as a girl at the hospital.
It’s episode 12 of Shion no Ō. It’s time for all 3 girls to play in their big 3rd round matches - Shion plays against the enigmatic Satoru, Ayumi plays against Shion’s foster-father Shinji, while Saori plays against her training master, current shogi champion, and brother to Satoru Hani-meijin. One of them goes down, but what about the other two?
It’s episode 11 of Shion no Ō. Hisatani has his next match and things start getting steamy between him and Saori. Meanwhile, we find out the fate of Hisatani’s phone. And why are Shion’s mother and Satoru meeting up secretly at night?
