Well, from what I can tell (and maybe this is just me) but it looks like this should make for an interesting love story for the remainder of the show. I think they both have feelings for each other, whether they want to admit it or not at this point, and Reiji will do anything to say Ein/Eren and the same goes for Eren. She may struggle because of her dedication to Scythe Master, but ultimately she could never kill Reiji.

I liked how they had Eren start to sound much more human after she received her new name from Reiji. Did anyone else pick up on that? She sounds much more natural and less monotone afterwards (albeit sad and confused).

BTW, anyone know how long this show is? Are we coming to the end (12, 13 episodes) or is this going to go on into the summer season (24ish episodes)? I'm hoping for the latter.

Well yeah, I basically said as much in the episode 8 episode review, but I noticed that there still seemed to be a lot of people who thought it was actually Scythe Master who betrayed Inferno, so I thought I'd throw that in on the unlikely chance that I'm wrong lol. But I agree with you, I definitely thing it was all a set up by Claudia.

Well, it was SHOWN that this was Claudia's double-cross. She spilled the Inferno drug shipment to the Japanese Yakuza around Godoh Daisuke, and then she got Scythe Master to assist this attack against Inferno (without him or Ein knowing - remember the "a little secret side job as a bonus to the higher-ups" negotiation between Claudia and SM?). Then, she fingered SM as a traitor who got overzealous, and she ordered Zwei over to give him an alibi (and groom herself a small Phantom of her own). Result:

+ Scythe Master discredited and on the run
+ Ein, who is fiendishly loyal to SM, wounded and on the run
+ Zwei under her influence
+ The Yakuza group indebted to her

Awesome intrigue.
