The comedy in Lucky Star isn’t for everyone. It is an off-brand style that many will not understand or care for at all, especially if they are not patient enough to make it past the first couple episodes. Others, like myself, will laugh out loud every few moments.

Well, Lucky Star may be, admittedly, a hit-or-miss show for some. Of course, no show is going to cater to everyone’s tastes either, anyway.

I actually liked it a little more when I re-watched it to write this review than I did my first time, through (It’s usually the other way around). I would hardly call it a classic (thus the low-80s rating), but I thought it held it’s own, anyway.

Eh? Humorous and Worthy?

I almost fell asleep, the first episode was almost the two or three characters all talking about how to eat food. Simply talking. The next episode was a broing homeowrk sequence that any one could have thought up.

I gave up after two episodes, I was excpecting something to happen or it to be actually funny, like Haruhi Suzumiya, but, No.

Even my life is more funny that lucky star!

Eg, the other day I was talking in bakcwards language at a party, when I got back home the next morning i was patting my dog and I said, “Good god….” lol. ^0^
