As I said: Wow. Each day seems to get better.
I could tell around 1 or 2 today that today may be a big day for my blog as far as web stats. I’d just gotten listed at Anime Nano, AN cleared up it’s spamming issue, and I posted a few posts today (some planned, some not).
However, what happened has gone beyond even what I thought I would get earlier today. I not only beat my all time single-day records, I smashed them:
Today, as of 9:12 PM:
215 visits (first time over 200 and all time record). Previous record: 177 (10/3/07)
369 pageviews (8th time over 300 and all time record). Previous record: 357 (10/9/07)
190 unique visitors (2nd time over 150 and all time record). Previous record: 153 (10/3/07)
With more than a week left to go, I already have more visits this month than I did in November.
Luckily for everyone visiting my blog, I probably won’t make another post about this until my January web stats post, but if anyone had any doubts about whether sites like Anime Nano helped you out or not, I think I just emphatically answered that.

Yeah, but whether or not people are actually reading is the main issue I think. You could be getting 1000 hits a day and maybe only a quarter of them actually read what you posted that day.
You should be aware that everything you write gets posted on anime nano now. And not everyone wants to read about how impressed you are with your own web numbers. If something happens to be off topic, you can add a tag, “off-topic” to it, and it won’t show up on anime nano, FYI.
“you can add a tag, “off-topic” to it, and it won’t show up on anime nano, FYI.”
thanks. wondered if there was a way to do that
Anime Nano is watching you fap…
Unless you put an off-topic tag up while you do it.
Well, I’ve added one now, though I don’t know if it works retroactively…
