I wasn’t originally planning on watching True Tears until I saw some reviews of the first episode on other blogs. Given that they seemed to be raving about it, and given that I was somewhat disappointed with the first episode of H2O, I thought I would pick up another visual novel-based romance series. In the end, I’m glad I did because so far after two episodes, True Tears is beginning to look like one of the better and more compelling series of the Winter season.
This series of course has your obligatory 3 main girls of different types, and of course you have to have the tomboy girl, the weird girl, and the shy, reserved girl, but then again, that’s part of what makes series like this interesting: taking each of those character types and revealing that they may not be all that they appear to be.
In any case, this series appears to have quite a bit of potential, and of course the requisite weirdness.

I currently watching this anime and now I was in the second episode. I thought this will going to be boring but I was wrong. True Tears is rather interesting. While not the best anime I ever watched but I was hooked by it.
The best part of this anime is not the storyline, but its animation quality. I bet this one is a high-budget anime of this season.
One thing I dislike about True Tears is the character designs. While characters aren’t ugly, they could be better looking.
Overall, I was satisfied with its two earlier episodes and I hope the third one will be as good or better. I hope you going to blog it someday, well it was your decision after all.
