Shigofumi immediately started off looking like it may be the class of the Winter season. A fascinating story (a girl and her sapient staff sidekick deliver letters from those who have died - a person’s last words), good production value, and an interesting story (Nice Rocket?) made this first episode rather memorable. I’m definitely digging this series and can’t wait to see more.
My only question is whether this is going to be a single coherent series, or whether it’s going to be a series of shorter stories, lasting, say 2 or 3 episodes each. I could see it going either way, especially given how the first episode went.

Right now it looks like the series will be having multiple short arcs, unless of course they start exploring Fumika’s past and how she started delivering shigofumi’s.
