It’s episode 9 of Blue Drop, and Mari and Hagino go out shopping for the play that Michiko is writing. On the trip, Mari learns more about Hagino. On the way back, they have to take shelter from a rain storm, when Mari learns about what happened to her in the incident 5 years in the past.

It’s episode 7 of Shion no Ō. Who will win the match between Shion and Saori. Also, Satoru decides that he wants to “learn” from Ayumi as well. Meanwhile, the detectives investigating Shion’s murder decide that they may try to use the proposed open tournament as a trap to catch the murderer. And why does Satoru want to sponsor this open tournament, anyway?

It’s episode 8, what is Kei doing answering the door to Hiro’s apartment while only wearing a towel? Meanwhile, Kei thinks she’s about to have a ton of time with Hiro by themselves, but that plan ends prematurely, much to Kei’s displeasure. Meanwhile, Chihiro finishes her story, but then collapses from exhaustion. What happens if she sleeps longer than her 13 hour memory limit?

Well, I thought that the original press release on this said Spring, but I guess the winter season it is.
In a way it’s too bad because I was going to use Winter as kind of a rest season on blogging series (by not picking any new series up) while perhaps blogging the first Gunslinger Girl series leading up to the 2nd season.
Well, it looks like both of those are now out since I’m definitely blogging this, and now I’d have to pump out two episodes a week of the first series to get it done before this one airs - and there is no way that’s happening when I’m behind on the series I’m already doing.
P.S., the second season is to be subtitled “Il Teatrino,” which, as far as I can tell, means “The Small Theater,” and can appear to refer to a puppet theater, which would be appropriate for a show like Gunslinger Girl.
