It’s episode 6, and once again we get angst, angst, studying, and more angst. However, can anyone arrive to save the world from all this angst oozing out of this series and return it to it’s normal Shana-kicking-ass state?

The highlights of this episode:

  • Remembering what Ike said before, Yuji tries to get out of having to walk Fumina to school every morning, but Ogata objects.
  • That day at school, the teacher announced a pop quiz, and Ogata decides that everyone should get together and have a study session that night at Satou’s house. Neither Yoshida nor Shana are thrilled that Fumina is coming too, but they come anyway.
  • Meanwhile, Satou tries to get Margery Daw to go away for the night, but she’s too drunk to just continues to sleep where she is. Satou concedes defeat in the endeavor once everyone arrives.
  • Yoshida cooks up dinner for everyone while Satou gets frustrated and gives up studying and Shana gets all grumbly over Yuji helping Fumina study.
  • Ogata tries to convince Yoshida to allow her to help clean up when Margery Daw suddenly shows up. Ogata recognizes Margery from the Misago festival.
  • Back in the study room, everyone wonders why they’re talking so long to clean up, so Fumina decides to go check on them (with Shana going along, because she doesn’t want Yuji and Fumina to be alone anymore). The pair find that Ogata and Yoshida are gone and try to clean up the rest of the dishes themselves, but find themselves inept at doing so.
  • Back in the bar area, Ogata confronts Margery over what her relationship with Tanaka is, but Margery tells her that it’s “nothing that she’s imagining” and that their relationship to her is more admiration than any sort of love. Ogata apologizes for misunderstanding, but Margery tells her that it’s OK, since jealousy is a part of love. She continues by telling Ogata and Yoshida that jealousy and resentment aren’t necessarily bad things, since it shows how serious they are, but that doing something simple like getting to know the other person better can help relieve those feelings
  • Meanwhile, the guys hear a scream from the kitchen and go to look what’s going on, but just find Shana and Fumina fighting with an out-of-control dish washer.
  • The next day, Yoshida pulls Shana aside to tell her what Margery Daw had told Yoshida, since she doesn’t want to show her ugly side anymore, and believes Shana wouldn’t want to either.
  • Afterwards, Shana finally decides to start training with Yuji again.

Fumina will claim Yuji, no matter where he is
Shana still doesn't like what she's seeing I'm too drunk to move
She didn't bring any melon bread... Studying is hard
Satou is done
Food! She looks like a drunk who just woke up. Oh wait...
It's YOU! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Dishes 1, Fumina and Shana 0
I know I can at least wash dishes... Into Margery's dark lair
I get what's going on here Dishes 2, Fumina and Shana 0
Make it stop!
Fumina thinks it's all funny All is well in the world again
I knew I shouldn't have slacked during studying The light turns on
Time to kick your ass, Yuji

For the love of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph I give a grand thank you and buy 1000 rounds of drinks for Margery Daw for (hopefully) finally bringing this Fumina-angst saga to an end. Now may the ass kicking begin (again)!

That is all.

Actually I do have one more thought: Now that Ogata knows that Tanaka and Satou do “jobs” for Margery Daw, how long will it be until she follows them out on one and discovers the crystal alter? And for that matter, when will Ike finally stumble on all this?
