It’s episode 10, and it’s Training at the Beach Part 2 as Kaneru and Najimi finally get around to making their new doujin. Will they actually be able to sell any this time? And who is this new character that we’re getting with 3 episodes to go?

The episode starts with Kaneru talking to Najimi about how wonderful the beach is and how much there is to do there. However, Najimi reminds her that their currently non-existant doujin go on sale in two days.
Meanwhile, a man is riding on a train carrying a manuscript of a popular manga series to the publisher when he suddenly realizes….it’s gone! He then realizes that he left it in an enveolope in his car…the car that his brother Hoshi drove to the beach with. And thus concludes the story that the man is telling Hoshi as to why he showed up at the beach.
Meanwhile, on the way back from the store, Kaneru and Najimi (both still wearing their tiny pink shirts) run into two guys and the two girls make take the wisest and most obvious course of action….allow the guys to drive them back! During the drive, the guys find out that Kaneru and Najimi are “drawing art” and volunteer to be their models. Much to their consternation, Kaneru has them model in some guy-on-guy poses. They finally break down and ask what they’re modeling for, and Kaneru tells them it’s for a “beautiful form of love.”
Obviously the guys don’t like this and approach Kaneru and Najimi and tell them that the four of them should have a “normal expression of love” instead. However, Justice suddenly arises out of the ocean and approaches the group. Upon hearing that the girls are “playing” with the guys, Justice asks if he can join in and flings off all his clothes except for a speedo. The guys, horrified by Justice’s glorious naked form make a run for it.
Back at the house the group is renting, Hoshi shows his brother Najimi’s manga, to which his brother responds how horrible it is. Hoshi disputes this, saying Najimi put a lot of emotion into it, but his brother just tells Hoshi that he’s just letting his feelings for Najimi get in the way.
The next day, Kaneru and Najimi finally get around to creating their manga, though neither Tsuyuri nor Sora are all that impressed with either creation. They finally get their books finished and copied for sale the next morning, only to have it start raining once they set up their booth to sell their books. The pair have to move their booth inside, but the find it unlikely that they’ll get to sell many books. Suddenly, the people who are taking shelter in the building start buying their books, if only to make fun of how bad they are.

I’m not sure what the point of this episode was, considering that 80% of the jokes are resued, from Kaneru fantasizing about yaoi to people reacting to just how bad Najimi’s doujin is. They did finish their manga, but it would have been nice to see some different jokes from what we’ve seen before thrown in.
Two more episodes left. How will the series end? It’s still up in the air.
