Plowing Through Reviews, and Web Traffic Amazement

Later today (assuming I don’t just plop on the bed and go to sleep the minute I get home), I hope to plow through several more episode reviews including the final 3 episodes of Doujin Work, plus episode 2 for both CLANNAD and Shakugan no Shana II (and if Blue Drop 2 has a sub out by then, maybe it as well - and where is a sub for ef, or did I just miss it?). Those that I don’t get up today I should hopefully get up Sunday.

Edit: Apparently Conclave (aka the Sub Group which never finishes releasing a series) has put out an episode of ef.

Edit 2: Oops, apparently there isn’t a SnSII episode 2 sub out yet (at least not from a group that I would trust), but if one comes out tonight, I’ll try getting to it.

Secondly, two things seemingly have happened to shoot up the traffic to my website (not that I’m complaining). The first is the ProBlogger contest thing that Kabitzin posted about and I decided to enter. Posting comments there I think definitely led to people visiting my website some. However, I think the influence from that has probably faded by now. The other thing that appears to have increased traffic is my starting to blog about Blue Drop, as the category page for that series is now the 4th most frequented page in the last month, only behind the home page, the Fall Anime Review Page, and the School Days category page.

As of yesterday, I’ve had 9 straight days with over 100 visitors. Since I started using Google Analytics, I had only had 2 days over 90 visitors before. Even absolute unique visitors are up, with 8 of the last 9 days having over 100. So I’m happy about that.

In any case, I’m well on my way towards getting 3,000 visits and 7,000 page views for the month of October. My hope is 4,000 visits, 8,000 page views, and 3,000 unique visitors, but I don’t quite think I’ll reach that this month. I’ll have to come up with some celebration whenever I hit 5,000 visits, 10,000 page views, and/or 100 unique visitors a day (which would be either 3,000 or 3,100 depending on the month - or 2,800 for February).
