It’s episode 4, and in this episode we finally get clarification: Makoto is not just a bumbling moron, but he’s a dirty jackass as well. Of course, this just makes the series even more intriguing as the more Makoto deserves to be beaten to a bloody pulp, the more likelihood that such an ending may be possible. Some people were worried that this series would turn into a run of the mill harem series. I think we can discount that now.
In any case, in this episode, Makoto continues to be aggressive with pushing his relationship with Kotonoha, and she, not surprisingly, resists. In response. Sekai decides to give Makoto “special lessons,” something which rarely has good results in the end.

Here is episode 1 of Doujin Work, a half-episode animation. The show actually lasts for a full half hour, with the last half hour apparently taken up by the two lead voice actresses trying to make a doujinshi themselves, but I’m not going to put any of that on my blog, just the animation part.
If you can’t guess by the title, this is a show about making doujinshi, and thus is kind of inherently ecchi in areas, but I still think it’s funny. Also, see shots of the opening and ending credits at the end.

On to Episode 16, and was hinted at the end of the last episode appears to be the case: the Lord of the East appears to be on a rampage! Partly because…he’s no longer the Lord of the East as he has been defeated, and wants revenge on the one who did so. However, the past-defeated Lord of the North is also in town for similar reasons as well.

Today I’m gonna try to put three, yes three, episode reviews up, of Nagasarete Airantou 16, Doujin Work 1, and School Days 4. Hopefully I’ll get them all up today. This will get me to within about 1 episode for NA and SD, but of course I’ll still need to catchup with Doujin.
I’ll try to post at least one more, and if I’m lucky, two more Doujin Work episodes this upcoming week, but I still need to finish catching up with the other two series too, so two more episodes may be pushing it.
PS:
Remember that if you hover your mouse over the pictures in the episode reviews, you get a little text pop-up, either describing the scene, or making fun of what the scene looks like. Also, on School Days and Doujin Work, if you click on the big pictures, you can see an even bigger version of that picture.
