Yeah, I know I forgot to do this Friday, and yeah I know I didn’t get to doing the anime and manga releases on Tuesday. I’ll do a combined one for this past week and next week on this upcoming Tuesday.
I’m surprised I haven’t started a countdown to when Volume 1 of Funimation’s Rumbling Hearts (ie Kimi ga Nozomu Eien) is released (it’s 67 days by the way). In any case, I see that pictures of the artbox has been released. The first disc will sell at $29.98 with the first disc + artbox going for only $10 more.
Rumbling Hearts is supposed be on a monthly release cycle - meaning volume one should be out in late December, Volume 2 in late January/early February, and Volume 3 out in late February/early March. And it is only supposed to be 3 discs (probably due to the fact that this is the first time an anime like this is being released with any fanfare in the US, so releasing it in 3 instead of 4 discs reduces risk a little).
Well, enough of that. I present to you, the artbox:
I think this is the first time that the same title graces both the DVD and manga covers on the same post, but thats how this one turned out - since I give preference to those spots to semi-major (or bigger) series that are either ending, starting, or are releasing a box set, and well, Midori Days is both a) releasing a box set (and is the most rated anime series being released on Anime News Network anyway) and b) the manga run ends this week. So, it’s Midori Day’s week.
Update: This really may be Midori Day’s week, since the next review I’m planning on posting is for the Midori Days anime. Maybe I’ll post that next week and put up a Midori Days credits up on Friday. Then it will really be Midori…Week.

Tuesday already has it’s own thing - Anime and Manga releases which recently I have been able to keep up with for the most part. So, I’m adding another feature: Anime credits. This will feature opening and closing credit sequences from various anime. So far I have 25 collected on YouTube, so I have a good backlog of them, and I’ll randomly select a new one to post each week.
So, on to week one, and the winner is a credit sequence from an anime (well, a season of an anime) which I haven’t even seen yet - I just ran into it searching on YouTube:
Ah! My Goddess Ending Credit Sequence #4

Whenever each day ends,
I secretly feel in my heart:
‘I loved you
very much today, too.’If I recall, look –
Though there were days when I grew tired of crying
I eventually reached that place
after spending many nights like thatThe story we have begun
Is not alone, and we can feel it
Even if we just laughed a little together shyly
Our linked handsWill definitely overflow
With premonitions of love
too many to count
After all, it beyond any doubt that
We are indeed lovers
While this section of calculusman.com is about 7 months old, the calculusman.com domain itself is now having it’s 6th birthday. I bought the domain and threw the first webpage up on it on October 4, 2000. It has gone through several variations and is now more of a hub for all my subdomains, I have tried to constantly improve the site over time.
